The Challenge

Transform an underground ballroom into a living field of wildflowers – simultaneously creating two distinct events in the same space, with separate ambience for day and night, without being able to reset or flip the room between them. The florals had to survive a three-day, two-wave meeting without wilting. The bar was set to impossible on purpose.

The Approach

We treated the no-flip constraint as the creative brief itself. We laid down seamless white flooring as a blank canvas, then layered in suspended floral installations, walls of greenery, mirrored furniture to multiply the blooms from every angle, and custom-branded neon to anchor the room. With the structure locked in, we used lighting alone to transform daytime to evening, while engineering the florals to hold up across three days and two waves without wilting.

The Outcome

We cleared the bar. The program won three major industry awards, including the highest honor for event design and décor at both Association of Destination Management Executives International and the ILEA Texas Star Awards. Our client event won an award for planning and executing the most unique meeting of the year, as voted on by their attendees.
