At the core of every great program lies the unmatched creativity of our fabulous Product Development team, or as we like to call them, our creative goddesses! For each Awards Dinner and Reception we plan, our creative team is behind the scenes expertly choosing the perfect linens, table arrangements, centerpieces, and so much more to develop the overall design of the program. Since the design is the first impression guests have as they enter the room, we know how important it is to nail every little detail.
In this blog, we’re going to share some of our favorite eye-catching centerpiece designs from recent events:
Black & Gold Awards Dinner: This simple, yet elegant floral centerpiece was designed for an awards dinner at the Dallas Convention Center for over 3,000 guests. Our event designer ran into a challenge with the 37-foot high ceilings in the exhibit hall. The objective was to create a centerpiece that would bring height to the table without obstructing the guests’ view of the stage. The solution was 3-foot cylinder vases filled at the top with hydrangeas and 7-foot curly willow. The centerpieces were carefully placed in the center of the 36-foot long kings tables complemented with shorter vases filled with hydrangea and gold candle votives. The results were absolutely stunning!
Life in Color Awards Dinner: Our event designer developed a floral design keeping with the colorful theme of the conference for this awards dinner at the Hilton Anatole for 1,200 guests. Two distinct table designs were unitized. The dining tables alternated between bold black linens and black/white honeycomb patterned linens. On the black linens, tables featured single color napkins with matching floral/glass centerpieces atop a glowing riser for a dazzling pop of color. On the honeycomb linen tables, clear candelabra centerpieces added height to the room while allowing the guests to have a clear view of the stage. The outcome was a color-blocking lover’s DREAM!
Diamond Connection Reception: This glittering reception for 350 guests at the Gaylord Texan sparkled like the West Texas night sky. Groupings of attention-grabbing centerpieces among an assortment of seating arrangements captured the overall event theme, Diamond Connection. Round tables draped in a blue shimmering linen featured tall beaded lamps accented with glowing candle votives. Wooden cocktail tables boasted silver antlers and a single understated candle. Rectangular bar tables were dressed in a sparkling glitter table runner across the center and lined in terrariums and silver candle votives. The terrariums were dipped in glitter around the rim for added sparkle. Hydrangeas and candle votives rested atop mirrored bar tables. The event designer expertly captured the radiant theme of the night!
