In the center of the action, the city of Arlington is located approximately 12 miles east of downtown Fort Worth and 20 miles west of downtown Dallas. Easily recognizable, the giant spaceship-like dome that dominates Arlington’s skyline is AT&T Stadium, home to the Dallas Cowboys and host to the 2011 Super Bowl XLV. Other top Arlington attractions include Texas Rangers’ Globe Life Park, Six Flags over Texas, Hurricane Harbor, and the International Bowling Museum & Hall of Fame. On the horizon for 2018 are plans for a new entertainment and 300 room hotel complex near Globe Life Park called “Texas Live!”
