As the co-owner of Ultimate Ventures (UV), my business partner, Laurie Sprouse, and I have worked side by side for over 25 years to create exceptional experiences for association, incentive, and corporate groups meeting in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
We started our company in 1993, but our real “ah-ha” moment came in 1994 thanks to a group of 30 vacuum cleaner salespeople from Norway, Sweden and Iceland. Winning this trip and coming to Dallas was a dream come true for them. We pulled out all the stops to impress them with special events and activities such as:- A Tex-centric event on the lawn at Southfork Ranch with armadillo races, a live band, and a J.R. Ewing lookalike.
- A “Cowboy Night Out” experience in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards complete with authentic Tex-Mex, a live rodeo, and two-stepping at Billy Bob’s Texas.
Seeing the pure joy on our Scandinavian friends faces, we began to understand our company’s true purpose – connecting guests to the incredible people, sites, tastes, beauty, and one-of-a-kind experiences that make up the Dallas-Fort Worth area. What a beautiful mission; we were hooked!
Fast forward to today, and we have a team of 20 talented people who come to work each day committed to making meaningful connections. When it comes to the art of creating Dallas corporate events, no one does it with more heart, passion, or purpose than UV.
