As we celebrate UV’s 25th anniversary this year, we are also celebrating our Every Month Matters (EMM) community giveback program. Since EMM’s inception in 2008, UV has partnered with over 45 different local charities to enrich the lives of North Texans. From a variety of children’s charities/hospitals to organizations that help the homeless, seniors, animals, refugees, the troops, and so many others, we’re proud of company’s continued commitment to serve our community.
To “kick off” our anniversary, this month our team participated in a kickball tournament with all proceeds going to provide services for the North Texas homeless population. UV played against other local companies (including the Irving Police and Fire Department), and together we raised over $2,500.
We’d like to thank our Team Coach/Sales Coordinator, Bryce Pitcher, for getting us ready for the big tourney and our Team Captain/Marketing Manager, Jayse Nelson, for making us look so good in our matching neon headbands and blue socks.We’re thrilled to report that the UV team took 2nd place in the tournament (especially since most of us haven’t played kickball since we were 12 years old!) with first place going to the city of Irving’s Police and Fire Department. Not too shabby!!
