The Fort Worth Stockyards is one of our team’s favorite places to take guests. We love watching the expressions on their faces as they experience this slice of Americana firsthand. Once home to cowboys, cattlemen and outlaws, today the Stockyards National Historic District is a taste of the true American West. Its weathered brick streets are lined with historic buildings, restaurants, shops, saloons, event venues, and many other attractions making it an ideal destination for a tour, team-building activity, or special event.
Here are a few of the possibilies available for groups in the Stockyards:
- Hold a special event where your group can two-step the night away and enjoy a private rodeo at Billy Bob’s Texas, the world’s largest honky-tonk
- Experience the sights, sounds and smells of the Stockyards with a photo scavenger hunt
- See The Fort Worth Herd in action, the world’s only twice-daily cattle drive
- Have a private behind-the-scenese conversation with the Fort Worth herd drovers
- Step back in time at the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame and partake in a chili cook-off
